YEAR BOOK 2005 - COMMENTS

I had hoped to deal with my problem of always having to be first, but it looks like I goofed again.

 

Damn, I’m always second!  Seriously, thank you MensWork guys for all your work.  You are making valuable things possible for all local men.

Thank you for the experience to be here.

 

Warm, heart full, encouraging, inspiring.

 

A great Gathering, I came, I slept, and enjoyed the workshops.

 

A rich cocktail of experiences and challenges.  Great weekend and a great journey.  (Can’t wait for the next one).

 

It’s a great feeling finding what your life has been missing – the company of good men.

Thank you – thank you a thousand thank you’s. This space has nurtured me immensely.  Learnings, growing, cryings and reshaping.  Like a parent, this space has grown me.

Been an amazing experience – I think I’m starting to find myself, made lots of friends, they are all great people – highly recommend it to anyone going thru issues  Can’t wait to see my kids.

 

Honoured, moved, touched, inspired, feeling stuff that is new to me.  Passionate about the importance of this work on our society today. Thank you to everyone who makes this happens.

           

A privilege to be here. How about that – I’m an Elder.  I shall cherish this time and my son’s presence.

 

Last Friday I didn’t know about Men’s Group and now I’m here and I feel good and on a beginning of a new journey.

 

A joy to be part of this wonderful Gathering.

 

Great – again.  Good to be with open, safe men for these few days.

A rich time with something of everything.  Warm connections with blokes different to me and men I mix with, inspiration, challenge and lots of joy.

 

I’m learning to breath again and no person will take my first deep breath.

 

My first time – very intense but satisfying – a very high quality weekend – I will never forget.

 

I have been blown away at this year’s Gathering.  It is my first time and didn’t know what to expect.  It has greatly exceeded my expectations and has been deeply moving.

 

Unbelievable – the most fantastic experience of my life.  The ritual were my highlight – It was like all the good bits I remember from Church without the bad bits.

A great unfolding!  Thank you for this gift.

 

This is the most amazing journey that I have taken. The spiritual surround and the unbelievable love of the men was overwhelming and it has been an absolute pleasure!  I have felt a change in my heart already.

 

Very cool – the real first for me and I think I am leaving a richer man !!   Ta.
